Routine Foot Care Visit
Amity Foot Care Nursing provides routine foot care during all visits in alignment with the standards of practice of Certified Foot Care Specialists. This includes:
- Review of health history
- Nursing assessment of lower extremities, toe nails, and footwear
- Trimming and sanding of nails and calluses
- Application of lotion to feet and lower extremities
- Review of education and plan of care
Any concerns that are out of scope for the foot care nurse will be referred as appropriate to a primary care provider, podiatrist, or other relevant clinician.
Fingernail Trimming
Fingernail trimming may be added on to any foot care visit for an additional fee.
